My main publisher is Joffe Books. When I originally signed with them, back in 2015, there were seven authors. Now there are at least two hundred! My other books are available through Sixpence Publishing.

I co-host an occasional podcast named The Truth about Fiction, which looks at aspects of writing and publishing that don’t often get airplay. I also interview other writers and people with insights into the creative process.

I participated in The Story Step, an online initiative created by Jess Lovibond, a Systemic Practitioner and Family Therapist, where men record stories for children and parents. This is the audio version of The Ball that went to Sea.

Although there are many fine spy and thriller writers, when it comes to character creation one of my favourite authors is Raymond Chandler. Marlowe may have been a gumshoe, but his adventures often involve changed identities, hidden documents, and moral ambiguity. I think Marlowe would have made an excellent spy! Here’s actor Toby Stephens speaking about why Chandler was a master of his craft, when the BBC broadcast radio adaptations of Raymond Chandler’s iconic detective novels.
